Sign Up and Login

Create your RepoRisk account and get started with repository security analysis.

Creating Your Account​

Follow these steps to sign up for a new RepoRisk account:

  1. Visit the RepoRisk home page — Navigate to RepoRisk app (or your organization's RepoRisk deployment URL)

  2. Click "Sign Up" — On the login page, click the "Sign Up" or "Create Account" button to access the registration form

  3. Enter your details:

    • Email Address — Provide your work or personal email address. This will be your username for logging in
    • Password — Create a strong password (minimum requirements will be shown on the form)
    • Full Name — Enter your full name for your account profile
    • Organization Name (optional) — If creating a team account, provide your organization's name

  4. Accept Terms & Conditions — Review and agree to the RepoRisk Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

  5. Create Account — Click the "Create Account" or "Sign Up" button to complete registration

  6. Verify Your Email (if required) — Check your email inbox for a verification link. Click the link to confirm your email address and activate your account

Your account is now active! You can immediately start using RepoRisk to analyze repositories.

Logging In​

To log in to an existing RepoRisk account:

  1. Visit the RepoRisk login page

  2. Enter your credentials:

    • Email — The email address associated with your account
    • Password — Your account password

  3. Click "Sign In" — You will be logged in and taken to your dashboard

Password Reset​

If you forget your password:

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page

  2. Enter your email address — Provide the email associated with your RepoRisk account

  3. Check your email — An email with a password reset link will be sent to your inbox (check spam/junk folders if not received)

  4. Click the reset link — Open the email and click the password reset link

  5. Create a new password — Follow the prompts to set a new password

  6. Sign in with your new password — Return to the login page and log in with your new credentials

Single Sign-On (SSO)​

If your organization has configured Single Sign-On (SSO), you may be able to log in using your organization's identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Google Workspace).

  1. Click "Sign In with [Provider]" — On the login page, select your organization's SSO option

  2. Authorize Access — You will be redirected to your organization's login page. Sign in with your organization credentials

  3. Authorize RepoRisk — Approve the authorization request to allow RepoRisk to access your identity

  4. You are logged in — You will be redirected to the RepoRisk dashboard

Contact your organization's administrator if you need to set up SSO.

Initial Onboarding​

After your first login, you may see an onboarding welcome screen:

  • Welcome Message — A greeting explaining RepoRisk's key features
  • Quick Tour (optional) — A guided walkthrough of the main dashboard sections
  • Next Steps — Links to get you started with your first repository submission
  • Skip Onboarding — You can skip this tour at any time and access the dashboard directly
